Examinations Reports & Promotions

Besides regular tests, there are examinations at the end of each term to assess the child's progress. Cumulative marks of all tests, on the basis of weightage, determine the progress and promotion of the child. Promotion in all classes will depend upon the marks/Grade achieved through out the year. Four Formative Assessments (Two assessments in each term) and two Summative Assessments (One Assessment in each term) will be held in a year. Weightage will be given as under:
FA 1 10%, -- FA 2 10%, -- FA 3 10%, -- FA 4 10%, -- SA 1 30%, -- SA 2 30%

Should have attained the prescribed minimum percentage in the aggregate of all the subjects. A student who fails to qualify for promotion will be detained in the same class if he/she does not become more than a year above the average age of the class. Withdrawal will be required if a student fails qualify for promotion for two consecutive years in the same class. The Principal reserves the right to detain a student in the same class.
